But, it’s fun, it keeps me off the streets (right!) and I have a hobby that I like. Sure, I miss the days when I could do whatever I wanted, where I was “able to leap tall buildings in a single bound,” like Superman, but those days are GONE, GONE, GONE!
So, a year ago I began taking an on-line internet marketing class (I don’t intend to leave my lupus blog and forever use this forum to plug my business, but indulge me for now!) and I’ve learned more about the web and ‘stuff’ than I ever thought possible, ever thought EXISTED! But, trust me, reading scientific journals all day can EASILY make Jack (or Jill) a dull one. I’m no ‘techno-geek’ by any means! but I am interested in learning new things; just like another nurse member of our blogging community, author of “Caring Lessons,” Lois Roelofs.
Try it, I dare you: I challenge you. You all have internet access, which kind of says you have access to a computer. Begin a hobby on the internet. Photography strikes my fancy, in fact editing photos has crossed my mind, but that might be in another life! There are so many things to study at the local library, which might have online classes. Try learning about that computer, getting lost in YouTube videos. And that’s just the tip of the iceberg.
Just a few minutes ago, I made this video; it took about 5 minutes! Yes, me, myself and I made it for free! As crude as the video might be, come to http://yourhomegoods.com on July 15, 2013 and see and buy some not-so-crude products (mirrors, candles, wall art, furniture decor, bookends) which will transform your house into a home!
